Another on the Same

Pesem iz pesniške zbirke v angleščini Airports (2003)

Another on the Same

I wandered lonely as a cloud
When all at once I saw a crowd
One shade the more, one ray the less
For ever panting, and for ever young
What mad pursuit? What struggle to escape?

Would I have broke this happy dream;
It was a theme.

A chapel was built in the midst
Where I used to play on the green
And I saw it was filled with graves
And tombstones where flowers should be
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come

That he would never die while he could move
While he might still jogg on, and keep his trot
Until his revolution was at stay
And too much breathing put him out of breath
I wear not these my wings in vain.

So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

The stars are not wanted now; put out everyone,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.

More Happy love! More happy, happy love!
