Tag cloud sonnet

25. 01. 2009, 19:55

A couple of days ago I wrote a sonnet in form of a tag cloud. A bit of fun rather than a serious attempt. Here it is:

A tag cloud sonnet of my day (21 Jan 09)

awake, kiss, piss, bake,
mistake cake, remiss amiss, demiss kumiss, shake brake,
news, horror, weep, blues,
explorer restorer, sleep.

A question

04. 01. 2009, 04:14

From Twitter (by me): if net art/e-lit == web 1.0 -> why there is no poetry/art 2.0? art/poetry != social? or social != poetry/art? just shop? all pop?

code free language: if net art or electronic literature is web 1.0 (more or less fixed web page based content) why there is no poetry/art 2.0 (refering to social based applications of todays internet). Is poetry/art not social or is society not interested in poetry and art? Is commertial culture all there is importnat in todays society?

Changes:

  • titles are not links any more (all projects are not on-line projects)
  • meta data is now visualy marked
  • links to online projects and permanent address to information on a project are now more clear

I hope this will make the page more useful.

New project: And Your Hair / Twit

11. 12. 2008, 00:52

And Your Hair / Twit is new work of e-literature at jaka.org. It takes the current weather condition in Ljubljana (authors home town) and it integrates it into the following sentence: It's [...] and your hair is in a mess. Than it adds posts from different users of Twitter that relate to the same weather condition.

Letters v. 2.0 from now on also at Firefox Add-ons site

12. 02. 2008, 17:46

Couple of days ago I proposed several of my latest add-ons to be included in the Firefox Add-ons web site. Among the proposed add-ons, the Letters (v. 2.0) are the first included in Firefox Add-on web site. Other add-ons are still waiting to be rewiewd and confirmed.

Letters is on-line visual poem in form of Firefox add-on. Animated 3D alphabet is added to web pages. Letters respond to the typing. You can also move the letters across the web page (more at the web page of Letters)

Add-ons are small pieces of software that add new features to Firefox browser.

Firefox Add-ons is a web site that agregates add-ons from different authors. Add-ons are technicaly and editorialy reviewed before they are included to the Firefox add-on web site. Apperance of an add-on on the Firefox Add-on site gives a sign that add-on is not ill intended and that it's techicaly suitable.

(Remark: 2.0 in the title of the work doesnt relate to the web 2.0, it's just a version number.)
