The poem changes with typing of a text/characters.

Delo uporablja HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (delno jQuery). Črkovna družina: Elsie Swash za animirano abecedo ter Andale Mono oziroma drugo enoširinsko sistemsko črkovno družino.

Asciidarij 2 is responsive on-line visual and sound poem.

Typed text is displayed in the ascii art pattern. Over the text the animated letters of the alphabet are shown and hidden, according to the typed text. Also sounds of typewriter are triggered.

Asciidarij 2 is based on the older, technically obsolete work Asciidarij (2001, titled Typescape in English version). Asciidarij 2 recapitulates basic concept, elements and functionalities but it is not identical to the originating poem.

The alphabet used is Slovene (a native language of the author).

The name of the poem is combined from Ascii Art (a way of composing images from letters) and Abecedarium or Abecedarij, along with Catechismus the first printed book in Slovene intended for learning the alphabet. The protestant reformer Primož Trubar had it printed in 1550.

Part of the content of the poem is open and up to a reader that interacts with it. Other part of the poem's message lies in the interplay of different conceptual and media traditions related to visual poetry and contemporary digital, programme based language expression.
